Star Wars: Creating a Lightsaber

Earlier today I stumbled onto a pretty cool video discussing the creation of the lightsabers from Star Wars. George Lucas and Mark Hamill are in the video as well as Ben Burtt, the man who created the sounds of the lightsabers. It’s about 15 minutes long and I thought it was worth the watch.

Later today I stumbled onto yet another video. This one has Ewan McGregor (Obi-Wan from the prequels) and Chris O’Dowd (Roy from the IT Crowd) on the Graham Norton show. Graham is a talk show host in the UK if you were not aware. More importantly though is that Obi-Wan has not forgotten his technique with a lightsaber and shows the other two guys how it is done:
