I’m amazed. Truly amazed. I’m told that the Theme Park is actually called “Joyland” and that the park is split into 5 sections: Terrain of Warcraft, Universe of StarCraft, Island of Mystery, Moles World, and World of Legend. So how much does a theme park like this cost? An estimated $315 Chinese yuan which came out to about 48 million US dollars.
One visitor reported that one of its attractions is named “Path to Warcraft” and other areas are named “Silver Moon Kingdom” and “Silver Moon’s Pride,” only slightly similar to WoW’s Silvermoon region. Buildings and structures in Joyland completely rip off World of Warcraft’s blood elf capital Silvermoon City. Curiously, there was no Warcraft merchandise (real or otherwise) in the gift shop, but there was a fake Iron Man mask.
